ESDK Grabs 2nd With Win Over Legion

Amidst the rain at Granny Road, the Empire State Demon Knights got past the New York Legion in a game that was featured on PDF Sports Network, 28-0. After a rather sloppy first half, the Demon Knights used their punishing run game to take a 16-0 lead into halftime, then added another on the ground and another via their defense for the shutout, springing them up to 4-2 and in sole possession of second place in the EFA standings.

In the only other game this week, the Cumberland Cobras scored a forfeit win over the Philadelphia Venom, which now puts them just one game back of the Venom in the XEFL standings.
